Well after taking absolutely ages to try and work out how to post a blog I found that the language was still set to Hindi, so I had to go back to change the language and then work out how to post a thing again. Stupid bloody computery things.
Yeah so I'm not really a computer geek, but I do spend quite a bit of time on the computer or by my phone I suppose, so I can understand why my parents think I am a computery person even though I'm not. Technology stuffs aren't really my thing though. I spend tonnes of time playing the piano. I've just learnt half of Scott Joplins "Maple Leaf Rag" by heart. Not a simplified version, the real thing. I've been listening to lots of George Gershwin and had "An American In Paris" In my head everytime I went swimming at Piha and got knocked over by the massively strong waves.
Last night I started reading "Poetry Girl" well it's called something like that. It's rather sad. Definately not a "feel-good" book. Basically about a girl who fails horribly at school so she has to stay in form one for two years and also she has trouble making friends and hangs out with the wrong kinda people... ya know? It really made me feel good reading part of it after I'd found out that I hadn't got into Chamber Orchestra after all. I really thought I had. That was sarcasm by the way, and I don't feel all that bad about it.
had a good time today going to a bushwalk and a lil beach thingy at the end and then going up to highbury to get yum milkshake things with Kety and Dylan. Very nice of her, had a good time. It's also nice and sunny.
Man what was the point in writing that? I'm being anti-social at the moment.

and I meant Katy not Kety.
ReplyDeleteYou're not being anti-social at all! You just told me how things were going!! Nice try at the sarcasm btw but it works better in writing when you notify the reader BEFORE you say what you were going to say ;)
ReplyDeleteEg: '*sarcastically* Oh gee. I really feel like working right now.'
And Maple Leaf Rag is AWESOME! I loved Scott Joplin when I was Cecilia's age.
Oh thanks for reading it:) Didn't know if anyone actually would.
ReplyDeleteI was being a little bit anti-social because Kathleen was over at the time, but she was feeding Dylan so she was a bit busy.
Okay every time I'm sarcastic from now on I'll try that trick. hehehe:P
yeah maple leaf rag is pretty cool! I haven't played the trio bit at the end properly yet. Nobody really knows that bit anyway so I'll take my time learning it. Maybe a few days.
Mum and Dad think you're a computer geek because you know more than they do. So as far as they're concerned you are a massive geek.
